Outreach

Thank You on behalf of the Real Life Center - 2026 Coat Drive!

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Coat Drive to benefit the clients of the Real Life Center. Your generosity and kindness have made a meaningful difference in the lives of local families. Because of your support, families in our community will have nutritious meals on their tables and warm coats to help them through the colder months. We are incredibly grateful for your willingness to give and help those in need. Thank you for being a blessing to our community.

-Bongi Queen, Real Life Center Special Programs Manager

This November, we invite you to join us in our Outreach program as we partner with Fayette Samaritans to create and distribute Thansgiving Baskets filled with essential foods items for families in need.

The items will be collected from October 25th through November 8th when they will be blessed that Sunday. The bags will then be delivered to Fayette Samaritans on November 9th to families in need for a Thanksgiving dinner celebration.

Thank you for your generaosity and for supporting the missions of St. Andrew’s in the Pines Episcopal Church!

Advent Event

It's Coming!! What's Coming? Advent is Coming and with it ...

Waiting With Wonder Advent Event!!

The Children's Ministry and the Daughters of the King are planning an intergenerational Celebration to help us get ready for Advent!

On November 14th at 2PM in the Parish Hall.

This event is for kids and adults. We will make ornaments for a "Jesse Tree" as well as making holiday cards for those in our community who are shut-in. There will be cookies to decorate, an Advent wreath banner and songs to sing. Please come for the fellowship and the food. This is a great opportunity to bring a friend or neighbor who might need a little joy this season. RSVP to the office so we know how much to prepare for. If you would like to get involved there will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex on Sundays please sign up. Help us spread the Joy of Jesus in this season of preparation.

You may or maynot know that the Daughters of the King are not allowed to raise money. That means that any events we host of the parish must be paid for from our own pockets.

We are looking for some donations to help offset the cost of our Advent Event on the 14th of November. Please see if you have any of these supplies laying around and bring them to the church no later than the 8th of Nov.

If you could let us know you are bringing materials by signing up on the poster in the narthex that would be great. While you are there, why not sign-up to come for the event?
