SHARPhub helps life science innovators start and grow companies

The Sustainable Heartland Accelerator Regional Partnership Hub (SHARPhub) was created to fast-track early stage life science technologies into startup companies from the central IDeA states — Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, North Dakota and South Dakota.

We offer training, networking, and mentorship to help academic entrepreneurs start companies to commercialize their life science technologies.

SBIR/STTR COVID-19 R&D Funding Alert

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a situation where agencies are often forced to change requirements by the hour because of new information about the state of the virus.

For example, some Institutes/Centers at NIH will currently allow existing grants to be altered to include COVID-19 or for the focus of a grant to be changed to COVID-19. But this can change as quickly as it's announced.

To avoid confusion that could affect your ability to get funding from any SBIR/STTR agency, we recommend contacting SHARPhub and let us assist you with finding the right information, asking the right questions, and making the right decisions.

SHARPhub is the result of a 2018 FastTrack STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) grant awarded to BBC Entrepreneurial Training & Consulting (BBCetc) by the National Institutes of Health. A significant part of SHARPhub’s focus is helping startups develop competitive SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) and STTR grant applications to provide seed capital to fund Research and Development at startup companies.
