Wednesday Evening Dinner

Dinner is at 4:45-5:30 pm in the CLC. Reservations are required (by Monday at 4:00 pm-we shop Tuesday morning). Sign up at www.tgbc.org/forms or call the church office (615-883-1856). You may pay for Wednesday Dinner via the app or website before noon on Wednesday. $5 per person, 3 and under are free.

As a church family, we have the opportunity to encourage and support the wonderful teachers and staff at Dodson Elementary by collecting some much-needed classroom supplies.

Bring your items to the front steps of the Worship Center on Sunday, August 16th.

Every item helps keep classrooms clean, healthy, and ready for students to learn.

Simeon Brothers (Widowers Group) monthly lunch will be on August 18 at 11:00am at Las Palmas, located at 5104 Old Hickory Blvd. Please contact David Konig at 615-618-3528 if you plan to attend.

Men's Prayer Group meets Thursday mornings at 6:00am in Room 100.

Operation Christmas Child: School supply collection began yesterday. We will collect school supplies August 9-23. These items may be placed in the baskets on the table in the Welcome Center. NOTE: This is a different collection than the one for the Dodson Teachers.

Senior Saints August potluck lunch is Tuesday, August 25 at 11:00am in the Youth Basement. Tod Tanner with the Tennessee Baptist Foundation will be sharing information on Estate Planning. Bring your favorite summer dish for the potluck and make plans to join us for a time of fellowship and great information.

REMINDER: All adult Sunday School classes and the student class will have a combined Sunday School hour in the Worship Center on August 16 at 9:00am.

Women's Ministry Discipleship Dinner Groups

You're invited to join a Discipleship Dinner Group! Sign ups are open now and will remain open until August 14th. Sign up here.

This monthly time of gathering with a small group of ladies for the purpose of growing together in gospel community will be a fun and beneficial time for you. Every month you will gather with your group over a meal and enjoy a time of fellowship and then a brief devotion and time of discussion.

This year our theme is Ordinary Obedience: forsaking sin and learning to walk in joyful, everyday obedience by putting on Christ. We will focus every month on a different area of life where we must forsake sin and embrace the call to walk in the new life we have been given in Christ.

This monthly commitment begins in September and ends in May.

Bible Study Fellowship

Romans speaks to our deepest struggles — doubt, pride, fear, and guilt —and leads us to God's grace. Written for ordinary people, it offers real hope for real life. Classes are offered for women, preschool, children, and students. Classes meet 9;45-11:15am on Wednesdays. Groups begin September 16.
