With the call for applications to GIP, DAAD wishes to promote cooperation between institutions offering Germanistik and/or Deutsch als Fremdsprache at German universities and their partner institutions abroad. Please click on the link provided below for more information on the new program. The deadline to apply is August 20th.

The German Academic International Network (GAIN) is the network of German scientists and researchers of all disciplines, working at leading research institutions in the United States and Canada.

Virtual GAIN20 Annual Conference & Talent Fair, Aug 28 - 29, 2020

The 20th GAIN conference is going virtual! The annual conference and talent fair of the German Academic International Network is the largest gathering of German universities, funding agencies and scientists abroad.

Get information about career paths and funding opportunities in Germany, participate in virtual workshops (in English or German) and explore our virtual career fair with more than 60 German universities, research institutions, and funding agencies.

The German Chancellor Fellowship for tomorrow's leaders

The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation grants up to 50 German Chancellor Fellowships every year to prospective leaders from Brazil, China, India, Russia and the USA – irrespective of their field of work. Recipients use the fellowship to conduct together with their German host and mentor a socially-relevant project that they have developed themselves. Deadline: 15 September
