Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off/Pick-up | |
With the expansion of Archway and addition of the new building, there are significant changes to the traffic flow for the upcoming school year. Please carefully review the new Archway Traffic Flow for Student Drop-off and Pick-up and reach out with any questions. Taking the time to understand these procedures will help to ensure the safety of our students/staff and a smooth traffic flow.
IMPORTANT: Please follow the link below to review the DETAILED Archway Traffic Flow Plan and be sure to share this link with anyone authorized to drop-off/pick-up your children.
*View the DETAILED Archway Traffic Flow Procedures*
General Reminders:
-
Morning Drop-off is from 7:20-7:47 AM. Parents who wish to drop-off earlier must enroll in Early Drop-off Club.
- Parents in the drop-off/pick-up zone must remain in their vehicle. Faculty will assist students exiting their vehicles, however, faculty are not allowed to assist students with car seats, so parents are highly encouraged to practice prior to the start of the year so that students are able to do that independently.
- Please have your PINK or YELLOW pick-up card clearly displayed on your dashboard during pick-up to help keep our process running smoothly. Pick-up cards will be handed out at Meet the Teacher in your oldest Archway child's classroom.
- Due to limited parking, there will be NO walk-up option for student drop-off/pick-up at this time.
- Parents with both Archway and Prep students, please review the pick-up procedure with your Trivium Prep students before the first day of school emphasizing the importance of arriving to the Archway Pick-up/Drop-off Zone promptly after school to be ready to load into your vehicle.

Dear Archway Trivium families,
I’d like to introduce myself as the new Registered Nurse for the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Katie Kredit, and I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2008. Since then, I’ve spent my entire career in pediatrics at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, having worked in many specialties and areas in the hospital. I am also a mother of five children, ages 13, 11, 8, 6, and 4. We have been a Trivium family since 2015 when our oldest son Evan began kindergarten. My passion in both my professional and personal life has always been kids, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Archway Trivium team. We are grateful to also have a new Health Assistant, Jessica Larsen, this year. She would like to introduce herself as well:
My name is Jessica Larsen, and I will be the new Health Assistant for this school year! For the last 16 years I have worked in health care at local hospitals, with most of that time spent in Children’s Emergency, Pediatric, and Neonatal Intensive Care. I love working with the pediatric population here in Phoenix. If you ever have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me via email or phone and I will be sure to help you. Please come say “hello” at Meet the Teacher night! I am so excited to be working with your families this year!
As the first day of school approaches, I want to ensure you that we are prepared for a safe and healthy school year. Here is a general guideline of what is needed before the first day of school:
-
If your child has ASTHMA: You will need to complete an ASTHMA ACTION PLAN. This MUST include a physician's signature. Please give this to me with your child's inhaler. All medication MUST be in the original container.
-
If your child has FOOD ALLERGIES: You will need to complete an ALLERGY ACTION PLAN. All scholars with a nut allergy will be required to sit at a nut-free table during lunch, unless you choose to complete a LIABILITY WAIVER. If your child has Epi-Pens, please bring them in the original prescription box. We require TWO pens at school.
-
If your child has SEIZURES, DIABETES, MIGRAINES, or any other medical concerns: Appropriate Health Care Plans will need to be completed.
-
If your child has medication to be given at school: Please complete a MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION CONSENT.
-
If your child has not completed all the required immunizations, you will be notified by the nurse. These immunizations must be up to date to start school.
-
If your child is 11 years old or will be turning 11: Tdap and Meningococcal immunizations are required within 4 days of their 11th birthday. Please make an appointment with their primary care provider to have completed.
All necessary documents are located in the Family Handbook or online at: https://arizona.greatheartsamerica.org/academy-life/health-office/.
Please review to make sure your child has everything they need for a healthy school year. Jessica and I will be at Meet the Teacher on August 1st, so this would be a great opportunity for you to give us your forms and/or medications and to ask any questions you may have. You may also contact us via email.
Respectfully,
Katie Kredit, RN, BSN
