This week, we were scheduled to send our second e-memo on CDFI operations during the pandemic crisis. However the events that have unfolded since have halted this.

The FUND Family is devastated by the unrest happening in our country. We share in the outrage over the murder of George Floyd and countless others, and mourn the destruction of our communities. Now more than ever, communities will need support, some of which our community development clients may be able to provide.

The voices of the protesters and the anger of the rioters will be a driving factor in much of our work moving forward. From this day on, the FUND Family will consciously work to not play a role in a system that continues to suppress segments of the population. We have much work to do, so first and foremost, we will listen, and we will learn.
