In addition to the leadership each of you provide to FCEP, collaboration and service across the House of Medicine is also appreciated and essential to our success. Whether through advocacy in Tallahassee or your service locally, you do us proud by leading and participating.
The Florida Medical Association (FMA) is one organization that many of our emergency physicians also serve or participate in. In keeping with the theme of collaboration and leadership that helps us all advance as physicians, please consider being a FMA Delegate if you are attending their Annual Meeting on July 30 to August 1, 2021 in Orlando, FL.
With FCEP Past-President, Dr. Ashley Booth-Norse, currently serving as the Speaker of the FMA House of Delegates, you will be warmly welcomed and well informed as you represent one of 10 delegates FCEP needs to fulfill its entitlement.
To participate as a delegate, you need to:
- be a member of both groups (FCEP & FMA), in good standing
- reply to this email by Friday, June 4 with your interest
We will submit our specialty's list of delegates to the FMA at the close of business on Friday, June 4.
