| | PIZZA, STEWARDSHIP & UUWESTPORT'S FUTURE | | |
Join us after the service on this Sunday (11/1) from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the East Wing for pizza and an informal conversation about stewardship, legacy giving, and UU Westport’s future. We’ll share a brief update on the work completed so far and the plans taking shape to revitalize the Legacy Society. More importantly, we want to hear your questions, ideas, and feedback as we continue building a culture of generosity and abundance. This is not a fundraising presentation. It is an opportunity to learn about the work, contribute to the conversation, and explore ways to participate in future activities.
All are welcome. Come enjoy pizza and help shape what comes next.
Questions? Contact Brian Lasher.

| | FROM THE TREADWELL GIFT COMMITTEE | | |
UUWestport received a bequest of $800,000 for the "church school" and Karl Chworowsky Library, from Nancy Treadwell. The gift was made to honor her parents - founding members of the congregation.
Realizing that there was a great deal to consider when thinking about this gift, the Board formed The Treadwell Gift Committee. Their role has been to gather facts and make a set of recommendations to the Congregation who would ultimately decide how this gift would be used and managed. The Committee will present their initial findings at the Town Hall on Sunday, November 15th. To prepare, the Committee asks congregants to read the attached FAQs about the gift, our obligations, the Treadwells and Karl Chworowsky, the history of both the Faith Formation program and the library, and the process of defining how this gift will be employed. We look forward to speaking with you on the 15th! Click HERE for the FAQs.
