A Message From Our Chapter President
Dear Community Members,
Happy December. Our November events were so much fun. We had a really awesome Chat N Chill with guest speaker Matt Nelson from the SCV Boys & Girls Club. We also had our elections for the new 2023 executive team. Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley provides after school and summer programs for youth in and around Santa Clarita Valley. We now have 4 locations, including Canyon Country, Castaic, and Newhall. Programs are safe and affordable year round. The Club is committed to supporting academic success, providing a second home, and building leaders. Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley is one of over 4,000 Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide. Our Donuts in the Park was cute we hung out at the park and enjoyed great conversations and donuts. We had our 40 Under Forty gala at Blomgren Ranch. What an amazing time that was. It was so awesome to honor 40 people under 40. Hopefully we will get some new members out of it because all of those honorees were so amazing. Our final event was the Turkey Eve JCI Reunion at Drifters. It was amazing to see a ton of JCI members from the past and our current members all together. there were at least 40 to 50 of us. So cool to mix and mingle with everyone. Don’t miss out on all the fun events we have planned for December.

About JCI Santa Clarita
Our Santa Clarita chapter is is the premier membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens between the ages of 18 and 40. JCI Santa Clarita is dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. We believe that to improve the world around us – we must also work to improve our selves. Jaycees, as individual and collective members are known, come from all walks of life. Jaycees are students, professionals, philanthropists, enthusiasts, hobbyists, and friends, but best of all, we are a community within our selves, working to not only impact our world, but help grow as individuals. Jaycees take ownership of our communities by identifying problems and creating targeted solutions to create an impact. Some examples are the following projects and events: Santa’s Helpers & SCV 40 under Forty. We help other Jaycees develop professionally and as individuals through trainings, lectures, and real life opportunities.
We love to have fun! From our monthly socials to our signature events to our training sessions. Join us!
