Fall Leaf Clean-up
Recent storms have reminded us about how many leaves fall across Los Altos. Los Altos Maintenance department wants to give residents some tips so that these leaves are properly disposed of:
- Do not sweep leaves in the street into piles
- Do not blow leaves into the street
The street sweepers cannot handle the additional volume, thus the leaves remain in the street. For more information, visit us at
www.losaltoca.gov/maintenance!
If you have leaves on your lawn, you can put them in the green waste or call Mission Trail to get additional bags. These bags will be dropped off and can be placed next to your regular trash when you would like them picked up. Visit their website at
https://missiontrail.com/LosAltos/residential.html or call them at (650)
473-1400.
