DOG DAYS OF SUMMER 2026 DISTRIBUTION

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16, 2026

Noon - 2 PM

United Pet Fund Resource Center

11336 Tamarco Drive

Blue Ash, OH 45242

No question, we are in the 'Dog Days of Summer' here in August. Battle the heat and come in for the savings that are really cool.

Hello UPF Members!

We are in the middle of the 'Dog Days of Summer', no question about it. This is affecting not only dogs, but all creatures...two and four-legged. Come in for some 'cool' savings on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from Noon to 2 pm, at the UPF Resource Center on 11336 Tamarco Drive, Blue Ash, Ohio.

Church and Dwight has contributed to this Distribution with a good selection of cat litter (you are not guaranteed a certain type of litter on the C&D litter if this is what you are wanting to get), but the savings are going to be in the " YOU PICK IT LITTER BINS ", with cat litter (picked from the bins) going for 5 cents/lb just on this day. Good selection of all kinds of cat litter in the bin...both organic and inorganic. With a little work, you can stock up. In addition, we are having 'cool savings' on metal and other crates with them going for only $5 or $10. Large selection available.

We have not had a 'pure delivery' of food resources from Greater Good, but do have some Chewy.com 'mixed dry dog food' available, and a few 150- 170+ lbs pallets of dry cat food available. Those who are taking care of farm animals, a few pallets of resources are available.

READ MORE BELOW, BUT IF WE DO NOT HAVE YOUR CURRENT 2026 RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND COMPLIANCE FORMS, YOU CANNOT PARTICIPATE IN A DISTRIBUTION TILL WE DO.

To participate, the only way to register is by sending an email

to

distribution@unitedpetfund.org

before the deadline of Noon, Friday, August 14, 2026.

This is a great opportunity to stock up on essentials for the pets under your management.

YOU MUST SEND THE CENSUS OF THE ANIMALS UNDER YOUR CARE WHEN REQUESTING ITEMS

BRING APPROPRIATE-SIZED VEHICLES TO HANDLE THE LOAD OF RESOURCES YOU WILL BE RECEIVING...Chewy.com mixed pallets are anywhere from 750 - 1000 lbs., and the full Church & Dwight pallets are close to 2,000 lbs.

Please carefully read the newsletter and follow directions. Each Distribution we have 1-2 members who do not follow directions and try to register with the wrong email. Also remember that if you sign-up and are a no-show with no communication with us about why, the resources you signed up for will be released to other members, and if this pattern continues, you may jeopardize your membership.

When you register, please be sure to give us the following:

  • Name of the UPF Member organization
  • Census of the number of animals under your care...be sure to list the number of dogs and cats
  • Person representing your organization
  • Cell phone number(s) of the person(s) attending Distribution Day for August 16th, 2026
  • Email of the responsible person attending Distribution
  • List of items you will be looking for when you attend (we cannot promise that you will always get what you ask for...do not ask for multiple pallets...we have 100 members to tend to). DO NOT JUST SAY "I want to register"..BE SPECIFIC on the Resources you need of what we have listed. It is not listed in the newsletter, there is a good chance we don't have it.
  • If shopping only, please let us know that you are coming. If you are picking up resources, and then shopping afterward...also let us know. Pick up the main resources, and then move your vehicle(s) further on down in the parking lot on the Northeast side (the side the UPF Resource Ctr is on).
  • Remember, ONLY 2 MEMBERS OF EACH ORGANIZATION CAN BE IN THE WAREHOUSE AT THE SAME TIME.

GREATER GOOD CHARITIES OFFERING AN EMERGENCY ANIMAL MEDICAL PROGRAM FUNDING

The Emergency Animal Medical (EAM) program provides emergency funding to help animals in crisis receive lifesaving veterinary care. By supplementing, rather than replacing, an organization's existing resources, EAM helps shelters, rescues, and human service organizations treat animals that might otherwise go without care due to financial constraints. The program also supports pets belonging to vulnerable populations, helping keep families together while allowing organizations to focus their limited resources where they are needed most.

  • Provides emergency funding for:
  • Shelter and rescue animals awaiting adoption
  • Pets belonging to survivors of domestic violence
  • Pets of individuals experiencing homelessness
  • Veterans and other vulnerable populations
  • Injured wildlife
  • Organizations must sponsor the animal or have the animal in their care.
  • Typical eligible expenses include:
  • Emergency injury treatment
  • Mass removals
  • Hospitalization for sudden illness
  • Other urgent veterinary care
  • The program does not cover:
  • Long term medical conditions (such as diabetes or cancer)
  • Boarding
  • Transportation
  • Other nonmedical expenses

This is a reimbursement grant. Treatment should not be delayed while awaiting a funding decision. Animals treated within the past three months may still be eligible. Average awards are approximately $2,000. Funding is limited, and not all eligible applications can be funded.

Emergency Animal Medical Survey Form

Emergency Animal Medical Cash Grant Request Form

WE ARE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT THIS AND WILL ENFORCE IT!

WE STILL NEED TO HAVE MANY OF OUR MEMBERS RETURN THE DONATION USE & COMPLIANCE FORM , AS WELL THE WAIVER OF LIABILITY & RELEASE FORM...AND SOME OF THEM DID NOT FILL OUT BOTH FORMS.

IF WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED BOTH SIGNED FORMS, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN DISTRIBUTIONS TILL WE RECEIVE THEM BOTH.

Just a reminder for ALL UPF Members about your responsibilities when you pick up resources, and what you are signing for when you come in. We would like all UPF Members to download the ANNUAL DONATION USE & COMPLIANCE FORM, and THE UPF WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM, read it, responsible party sign both, and bring it in when you pick resources or sign, scan and send to email listed below. Mistakenly in previous newsletters we said just to read the UPF Waiver and Release form. YOU MUST ALSO SIGN THIS FORM IN ADDITION TO THE ANNUAL DONATION USE & COMPLIANCE FORM FOR UPF MEMBERS. Our donors need to know that we are protecting them as well. We will be repeating this request till we get all UPF Members forms back.

The forms are now in a pdf-FILLABLE Form to make it as easy as possible. Fill in the information, save the form, and forward to email below. If you are not attending the Distribution Event, you can

sign and forward all signed forms to:

info@unitedpetfund.org.
