ZENITH IN THE NEWS

Meet the founder of Zenith Gallery and discover the incredible story behind one of Washington DC's most enduring arts institutions. For nearly 50 years, Margery Goldberg has championed painters, sculptors, and mixed media artists of every kind all while building her own successful career as a pioneering wood sculptor. After various locations, the Zenith Gallery has found a new home inside Margery's residence in Northwest DC. The eclectic space perfectly reflects the fearless spirit of the woman behind it all.

Margery Goldberg, Owner and Director of Zenith Gallery, artist Jennifer Wagner, and Nancy Pelosi.

Karen Tramontano, IPPH Vice Chair Nancy Pelosi, and Sharon Pratt, IPPH Founding Director

The Institute of Politics Policy and History (IPPH) purchased a work of mosaic art by Zenith Gallery artist, Jennifer Wagner titled “Shattered” referring to breaking the glass ceiling. Sharon Pratt, former Mayor and founder of the Institute of Politics Policy and History (IPPH) at UDC, and Karen Tramontano, Vice Chair, honored Nancy Pelosi on her 86th birthday at Trinity Washington University award ceremony March 26, 2026 with the gift of art.

Zenith Community Arts Foundation (ZCAF) est. 2000

Living Legends, National Treasures is ZCAF founder, Margery Goldberg's vision for a senior artist community where artists can live, work together, show together, perform together and engage the community. A place for artists to keep creating well into their senior years. Learn more

Zenith Community Arts Foundation

Our goal with the Mobile Wood Shop is to teach skills to a new generation, specifically woodworking and finished carpentry.

As wood shops vanish from schools, it is more and more difficult to learn wood working at any life stage. Skills in wood working can lead to a profitable career, and the industry is aging out even though demand is rising.
