Pastor Trudy's Message

Shepherds and sheeple! I'm always struck by our love for the image of God as shepherd, but our reluctance to be sheep. We downplay the role of following, emphasizing leadership instead. Leadership is important, but in the 23rd Psalm and the Gospel of John, it is followers that are needed. What do we need to do in order to be better followers?

God our Shepherd, help us to see where we can work on our trust and follower-ship! Train us to hear Your voice amidst the noise of the world. In Jesus' name, Amen.
