FamDocPAC Donations Needed for
Upcoming Statewide Elections in 2022
|
|
Statewide elections will be held in Nov. 2022, and that means donations to FamDocPAC, our political action committee, are more important than ever.
Per our bylaws, our FamDocPAC only donates funds for state legislative races, and 2022 will be the year for distributing those funds to Senate and House candidates.
FamDocPAC's goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of 2021, and we only need a little over $3,500 to reach it. Physicians are encouraged to give before the end of the year. A lump sum donation is NOT necessary. In fact, more than a dozen MAFP members give a monthly donation by having their credit cards charged -- the majority give $50 per month.
During the MAFP Fall Conference, we gained 7 new members of the FamDocPAC and raised more than $2,400. Thanks to FamDocPAC Chair, Dr. Katie Patterson, for manning the FamDocPAC booth and encouraging members to give.
