Free Weekly COVID-19 Testing Available to Child Care Providers
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) encourages child care providers to get routinely tested for COVID-19. The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) and CDPHE consider those providing child care and early childhood education services critical in enabling 1515990 economic activity and supporting the healthy development of Colorado’s next generation. Free weekly testing is available across Colorado to child care providers, no referral or insurance required.
Thanks to a partnership with CU Denver School of Education and Human Development, Continuing education units (CEUs) are being offered at the discounted rate of $25 per unit (Regularly $38) by University of Colorado Denver.
To be eligible, attendees must complete 10 clock hours of training at RMECC per CEU. 10 hours=1 CEU, 20 hours=2 CEUs. PARTIAL CEUs will not be granted.
AFTER the event, we will contact all attendees who completed 10 or more hours with the option to register for CEUs through CU Denver.
We will send a link and instructions to register for the CEUs at the discounted rate.
CU Denver will manage payment collection and distribution of units.
All sessions are eligible for CEU credit, but they must add up to 10 or 20 hours.
