Bottom Line Up Front: TRAC weekend monitoring of US domestic armed protest activity revealed minimized flash points, primarily due to proactive measures taken in several spots. For instance, the park in Stone Mountain Georgia was closed, so armed protesters were forced to rally inside the city. Counter-protesters greatly outnumbered the Neo-Confederates and Three Percenters who had come to rally resulting in no more than shouting matches between the two sides. In Virginia, the mass flooding did not deter the "Black Guns Matter" rally where a vast array of various groups from BLM757, The Huey P. Newton Gun Club, the Original Black Panthers of Virginia and Boogaloo Bois amassed in Richmond. Yet, another much smaller Boogaloo Bois rally occurred in Richlands, Virginia for the purpose of 'educating' the local law enforcement of purported KKK activity in the area. Of which the police denied KKK presence in Tazewell County. Weather, thoughtful decisions made by State Parks Authority and police presence all helped to curb the weekends potential flash points.

(Right Wing Extremism) Telegram Channel Espouses New Order of the 9 Angles (O9A/ONA) Conspiracy Theory Involving Secret Satanic Cult Operating Out of Taco Bell Restaurants in United States |
The very complicated theory reports that Taco Bell restaurants secretly operate a satanic, all-Hispanic meth (crystal methamphetamine) labs inside the stores. This latest conspiracy reeks of the same type of conspiracy theories that inspired attacks at the Comet Ping Pong restaurant made famous by Pizzagate. Since the Pizzagate attacks, increasingly, conspiracy theorists, especially QAnon and "Globalist Reptilian People" or "Lizard people" believers, are not only intermingling with the racist and Accelerationists circles on Telegram, but also willing to act out their own plots based on theories. In February 2020, the FBI warned that QAnon supporters should be regarded as a domestic terrorist threat.Two of the three hashtags offered at the end of the message offer clues into the origins of the Taco Bell conspiracy: #SaulNehlen and #O9A.

TRAC INCIDENT REPORT: After Breaching Gates With VBIED Al Shabaab Holds 5 Hour Long Siege on Elite Hotel in Lido Beach, Mogadishu, Somalia |
Al Shabaab stormed the Elite Hotel in Lido Beach after breaching the hotel's gates with an explosive-laden vehicle. At least four gunmen, plus the suicide bomber driver, were involved in the attack which killed nearly 20 people and injured another 43. A five-hour siege ended with assailants killed.The owner of the hotel, former Finance Minister, Abdullahi Mohamed Nur, was inside the hotel during the attack as well as other government employees. Al Shabaab often chooses soft targets like restaurants and hotels to attack government employees and policy makers. At the beginning of August, an al Shabaab suicide bomber targeted another seaside restaurant hosting government officials at Lul Yemeny Seaside Restaurant. A nearly identical attack to the Elite Hotel attack tactics occurred the week prior when al Shabaab suicide bomber targeted 12th April Somalian Army Brigade in the Wardighley District of Mogadishu.Via al-Andalus media, al Shabaab claimed credit for the attack, "Al-Shabaab forces waged amaliyat against a hotel owned by member of federal parliament.”

The poster on left represents Jamaat-ul-Ahrar Omar Khalid Khorasani and Hizb-ul-Ahrar emir Omar Khorasani swearing allegiance to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Emir, Abu Mansoor Asim. It is unclear if the bayah are going to impact Tehreek-e-Taliban Islami Pakistan (TTP) operations. TTPJA has been cooperating with TTP since 2018, the announcement seems more of a formalization; HuA has traditionally operated under TTP umbrella. Omar Khalid Khorasani (JuA) and Omar Khorasani (HuA) were the two leaders involved in the bayah. Jamaat-ul-Ahrar / Jamatul Ahrar (TTPJA) broke away from Tehreek-e-Taliban Islami Pakistan (TTP) in 2014. The TTP-JA pledged to Islamic State Khurasan (ISK) and had been working with them up until roughly 2018 when TRAC sources on the ground reported that there was a massive new collaborative effort between TTP, HuA, and Jamaat-ul-Ahrar / Jamatul Ahrar (TTPJA).
