December ICS eNews

ICS is proud to announce its critical role in partnering on three out of six Social Impact Partnerships to Pay for Results Act (SIPPRA) awards, furthering our commitment to improving the lives of children and families. ICS will serve as the Intermediary for all three awarded jurisdictions, playing a vital role in the success and implementation of these impactful programs.

In Spartanburg, South Carolina, SIPPRA funds will continue to support the Hello Family initiative, a collaborative effort founded by multiple organizations, including ICS. This program is dedicated to improving outcomes for young children and their families by providing services and resources for all children in Spartanburg, ensuring that they have access to the tools they need for success.

In Florida, SIPPRA funding will support two key programs aimed at improving the lives of young children and families. First, Family Connects, a newborn home visiting program will be launched to provide essential services for families in the City of Jacksonville and Leon County, offering support and resources to new parents. Additionally, Reach Out and Read, a nonprofit that champions the positive effects of shared reading in partnership with a national network of clinicians, will expand its services, leveraging the pediatric well-child visit, using childrenโ€™s books and shared reading to support parents and caregivers in strengthening early literacy and healthy relationships with their infants and young children.

Congratulations to Spartanburg, the City of Jacksonville and Leon County - ICS looks forward to working with you to improve the lives of young children!
