Attention St. Thomas Parish Students Attending Catholic Schools
The St. Thomas School Endowment Fund will again provide tuition grants to St. Thomas parish students attending Catholic Elementary or Catholic High Schools (K-12) for the 2025 – 2026 school year. The grant will be $500 for elementary students and $1000 for high school students. Grants will be paid upon verification of attendance directly to the schools. Parishioners need to be parish members for at least one year to be eligible for the grants. Please continue to pray for the parish as we work to preserve the property for future generations. | | Graduation for our Preschool Faith Formation students was on Sunday, April 27th, with a ceremony following the 11:15 Mass. The Sun-Rays, Moon-Beams and Star-Lites sang their own unique class song. The Star-Lite graduating class also sang "This Little Light of Mine" and you could feel their joy as they held their battery-operated candles, sharing the light of their candles and the joy of their little hearts! Then we witnessed "Little Miracle Workers" at work! They provided a little entertainment in demonstrating a few of the miracles Jesus performed. These little ones are are miracle workers in their own rite! The program concluded with each Star-Lite Graduate receiving "The Complete Illustrated Children's Bible," the Moon-Beam class receiving the "Snuggle Up Bible Stories" and the Sun-Rays, "Say a Happy Prayer Before You Go To Sleep" and everyone enjoyed graduation cake and refreshments. | | The St. Thomas Preschool Faith Formation 2025-26 Calendar is now available! A Spaghetti-Powered Prom and a Mission with Heart
On April 25th, the Kentucky-bound teens of Mission Trip 2025 served up spaghetti, meatballs, and sheer joy at our third annual Young-at-Heart Senior Prom! Over 70 glamorous guests filled the St. Thomas Gathering Space, where the wind and water communities came together to support our teen mision trip to the beautiful hills of Leslie County, Appalachia, Kentucky where they'll help flood victims with home repair, restoration, and a whole lot of kindness. (And they’ll be sleeping on the floor of a local school. Real-life mission style). A heartfelt passing of the crown took place as last year’s prom royalty, Fred and Rosie, crowned the new King and Queen, Mike and Mina Stuckmeyer, who promised to represent our mission with regal grace. Best Dressed awards were given and Fr. Steve stopped by to show his support and encouragement! And behind every meatball rolled, every balloon blown, and every dish washed, there were behind-the-scenes heroes making the magic happen. You know who you are, and we love you for it. Thank you!
