EGSA Spring Conference

At this year’s Spring EGSA Conference, our team joined industry leaders and innovators to explore one of the most critical topics in power generation today: microgrid resiliency. As the demand for reliable, decentralized energy solutions continues to grow, microgrids are playing a pivotal role in ensuring energy security, especially in the face of grid instability and extreme weather events.

The conference offered a deep dive into the latest technologies, case studies, and regulatory insights shaping the future of resilient microgrid systems. From advanced control strategies to integration with renewable energy sources, our team gained valuable knowledge and inspiration to bring back to our work.

We’re proud to be part of the conversation driving smarter, more resilient energy infrastructure, and we’re excited to apply what we’ve learned to help build a more reliable future.

Project Highlight

We are proud to boast the successful commissioning of a 1 MW natural gas generator at JW Marriott Reston Station, which is a major milestone in our commitment to energy resilience and operational excellence.

The generator is now ready to deliver stable, efficient, and environmentally responsible power when needed in order to keep this beautiful new luxury hotel up and running. The commissioning process included rigorous testing, system integration, and performance validation to ensure seamless operation and long-term reliability.

By investing in on-site generation, JW Marriott Reston Station is taking a proactive step toward energy independence, reduced grid reliance, and enhanced sustainability. This achievement reflects our ongoing dedication to innovation and our mission to provide uninterrupted service to our tenants, partners, and community.

Company Picnic - Back to the 80s!

Our 80s-themed company picnic was a blast from the past and a day to remember! Hosted poolside under sunny skies, the event was packed with retro fun, great food, and even better company.

Team members and their families enjoyed a full lineup of activities, including classic 80s trivia, a themed photo booth, and a soundtrack of throwback hits that kept the energy high all day long. From cornhole and basketball showdowns to moon bounce adventures and cannonballs in the pool, there was something for everyone.

Of course, no summer picnic is complete without great eats—barbecue, crabs, and all the fixings kept everyone fueled for fun. It was a day full of laughter, connection, and good vibes.

Spring Engineering Symposium

Earlier this year, our engineering team attended the Spring Engineering Symposium in Waukesha, WI, hosted by Generac Industrial Energy. The event featured technical PDSS sessions on topics like generator sizing and energy storage, along with a tour of the Eagle facility, where generators up to 150 kW are built.

It was a great opportunity to learn, connect with peers, and get a sneak peek at exciting product developments. Big thanks to Generac for an inspiring and informative week!
