Kweller Prep will host a free in-person tour of Brooklyn Technical Specialized High School on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Get to Brooklyn Tech Via Mass Transit

• From the Bronx: Take the # 2, 4 or 5 train to the Nevins Street station in Brooklyn.
• Take the D, B train to Dekalb Avenue in Brooklyn.
• From Manhattan: Take A or C to West 4th Street, and transfer to the B train. Take the B train to Dekalb Avenue Station in Brooklyn.
• Take the C train to Lafayette Avenue station in Brooklyn.
• Take the N Q R B to Dekalb Avenue station in Brooklyn.
• Take the #2, 3, 4 or 5 train to Nevins Street station in Brooklyn.
• From Brooklyn: Take the A or C to Hoyt-Schermerhorn station in Brooklyn, and transfer to the Queens-bound G train to Fulton Street.
• Take the N, B, Q or R train to Dekalb Avenue.
• Take the #2, 3, 4, or 5 train to Nevins street
• Take the G train to Fulton Street.
• Take the F train to 4th Avenue and transfer to the R train. Exit the R train at Dekalb Avenue Station in Brooklyn.
• Take the J or L train to the Eastern Parkway station and transfer to the C train. Take the C train to Lafayette Avenue station.
• Take the J or L train to the Eastern Parkway station and transfer to A or C.
• Take A or C to Hoyt-Schermerhorn and transfer to Queens-bound G train, Exit G train at Fulton Street station in Brooklyn.
• From Queens: Take G train to Fulton Street in Brooklyn.
• Take the #7 train to Grand Central Station and transfer to #4 or 5. Take the #4 or 5 train to Nevins Street station in Brooklyn.
• Take the E or V to 23rd Ely & transfer to the G train. Take the G train to Fulton Street.
• Take R to Dekalb Ave station in Brooklyn.

Entrance into Brooklyn Tech (and all specialized testing high schools) is determined by the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT). Students must be residents of New York City and current eighth-grade or ninth-grade students to apply, register, sit for, and receive results for the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT). Current 10 and 11 graders cannot enter Brooklyn Tech.

Kweller Prep helps students get to the next level of their academic careers. This program specializes in preparation for competitive middle, high school, college, and graduate school.
