Welcome to the new 2025-2026 season!

Message From The Director

These are busy times for club soccer as one season ends and another begins! Congratulations to the many teams that participated in the WA Cup in the past couple of weeks. We had 3 U11-U14 teams make it to Pasco for the Finals Weekend - M13G losing in penalty kicks after a courageous comeback, M12G fighting hard and losing in the semis, and M11G being crowned champions for their division. In addition, high school aged girls teams fought hard this past weekend, several teams getting into the consolation semis and finals and the F10 White/Blue team taking 3rd place by winning the consolation final.

We were very proud to have the great Bobby Howe grace us with his presence and wisdom at the End-of-Year Awards Ceremony. Bobby is a legend in US soccer and we have been lucky to have him as part of the club for many years. Congratulations to each team's Pivotal Player Award!

Tryouts are well underway. This 9-day stretch includes tryouts for all age groups except U16-U19 boys. Following these tryouts, teams will begin practicing the week of May 19th to begin the 2025-26 club soccer year! Thank you for all of your work and support to help make this the positive club it is!

Happy Mother's Day! Go ECFC!

Coach's Corner -

All of our coaches and staff would like to recognize the sacrifice, dedication, and love that all of the mothers in our lives show daily. Some are near, some are far, and some may no longer be with us. Let us take this time to love them, honor them, and possibly clean their car out (a soccer Mom's dream hint, hint).

A special Happy Mother's Day to our resident Mother; Annmarie Hamel. She is not just a coaches wife, a soccer mom/grandma, the official "ECFC MOM" to our staff, but an incredibly hard working woman that touches everyone she meets. Also, Happy early Birthday Annmarie (May 12) we hope you have the best day!

"I aspire to be a giver. A giver of love, a giver of good vibes and a giver of strength."

-Annmarie Hamel

Why people join ECFC?

"Emerald City FC prides itself on creating a competitive soccer environment in a family like setting. I experienced that personally as a player and we wanted our children to enjoy that same experience. ECFC understands the entire athlete; mentally, physically, and emotionally. We weren't just a number on the roster, we were a member of the family. For the last 46 years they have continually proven that you may take the family out of ECFC, but you can never take ECFC out of the family."

-The Huppert Family
