Prayer & Spiritual Practice Stations

During this final week of Lent, we encourage all – whether alone or with family – to spend time at the Prayer & Spiritual Practice stations located throughout the Sanctuary. Each of these six stations offers a unique focus for prayer and reflection, guiding us through different aspects of our faith, such as gratitude, forgiveness, and sacrifice. During Holy Week, the Sanctuary is open Mon-Thur, 9 am-4 pm and Friday, 9 am-1 pm.

Palm Sunday

Apr 13, 10:45 am

Palm Sunday commemorates the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and begins the series of observances focusing on the events of Holy Week. Also referred to as Passion Sunday, this day marks the beginning of the passion or suffering of Jesus leading to and including the crucifixion. Worship with us in the Sanctuary at 10:45 am.

Children's Ministry Palm Sunday Celebration

So many ways to celebrate Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week!

  • 9:30 am: Games, snacks, and surprises during Sunday School
  • 10:40 am: Families meet in the Narthex to join the Procession of Palms into the Sanctuary
  • During Worship: a musical children's moment followed by KidsChurch where we'll make candy Jerusalem cities!

Maundy Thursday

Apr 17, 7 pm

Maundy Thursday is the first of the three days of solemn remembrance of the events leading up to and immediately following the crucifixion of Jesus. This service will include Holy Communion and an option for hand or foot washing. Emulating Jesus's washing of his disciples' feet, this is a symbolic act of humility and service, emphasizing love and reconciliation.

Good Friday

Apr 18, 7 pm

On Good Friday, we remember Jesus’ outpouring of love through his suffering and crucifixion. This Service of Tenebrae will allow us to reflect on Christ’s arrest, crucifixion, death, and placement in the tomb. This somber, multi-sensory experience will feature scripture, music, candlelight, and gradual darkness.

Easter Cross of Flowers

Apr 20, prior to worship

Early Easter morning, bring flowers, flowering branches, or vines to help create a stunning symbol of the resurrection. Or, as you arrive for worship, add your cuttings to the cross, located just outside the Narthex doors at the front of the church. This annual tradition makes for a beautiful photo opportunity!

Easter Sunday

Apr 20, 9 am & 11 am

A joyous celebration marking the resurrection of Jesus. Easter Sunday is the culmination of our Christian faith story and a time to rejoice in the promise of new life and hope. Worship with us at 9 or 11 and enjoy a complimentary breakfast between services.
