As we drive into May, I’m pretty pumped to see the auto scene alive, well and innovating in OC.

While HAAS Motors of Lake Forest is building SUVs, the automaker is still working on a US manufacturing site. This adds to Hyundai, besides the local electric vehicle makers we’ve mentioned in past newsletters, and Cox Auto building brands like Kelly Blue Book, Manheim, and Autotrader to name a few. 

Another industry that is skyrocketing in OC is space tech. There is so much going on in this sector, including SpaceX’s new OC office and Virgin Galactic’s new HQ. Have a new space tech startup we should be covering? Let us know!
