Tucker Tips

Hockey IQ
Development

Hockey players of all ages and skills need to work on their hockey fundamentals. However, at a certain level, fundamentals are not enough.

A player will not become a great player if he or she can’t apply these skills effectively in a game.

Hockey sense separates the very best from the rest. Hockey sense is the tactical thinking part of the game. Hockey sense is a learned skill and players are not born with this trait.

Coda like "The Tucker Hockey Way"!
Player doubt turned to excitement, an amusing and heart-warming Tucker Hockey Story as told by Shawna K, the mother of one of our Summer 2020 Program students.

A sneak peek to the story:

On the way to the rink Coda says to me “so Mom, yesterday I tested the coaches”, confused, I asked what he meant. Well he says “I was late getting on the ice and no one got mad at me or yelled at me to hurry up. So then when it came time to do the drill I did it wrong”.
