Hello! You received this email because you registered for the October 17th Elementary and Middle School Hot Topics Workshops.
We were thrilled to offer 8 quality workshops across a variety of important topics of interest for parents/caregivers of K-8th grade students.
There are many people who made this evening possible. We'd like to specifically thank the following people:
- We are incredibly grateful to our workshop presenters for their time and investment in putting together FREE workshops that were meaningful and engaging for parents/caregivers. Thank you to Pat Nash, Lisa Livens, Dana Catarius, Matt Travis, Catherine Nourse, Chandra Leela Velpula, Kim Tynan, Kristen Vincent, Elizabeth Berry, Stephanie Nephew, Megan O'Connell, Bridget Sullivan, Maura Kovaleski, Roger Anderson, Police Chief Jeff Lourie, Detective Chip Dapolite and Officer Laura Rossi.
- Thank you also to Judy Noonan, Kristin Brigham and Kim Rosol for planning and hosting a school nurse's table for attendees to stop by and ask any questions.
- Thank you to Steve Masciarelli, who, along with his high school tech crew, is always an incredible support at our events.
- Thank you to the Westborough High School students who helped out in our childcare room.
- Thank you to Kristy Showstead from SPARK, who trekked over from Natick to pitch in anywhere and everywhere we needed her, including at our welcome table and in the childcare room.
- Thank you to Karen Henderson and Westborough TV for filming the opening remarks and the Youth Behavior Risk workshop for community members who were unable to attend but are interested in hearing about this important topic and results from the 2019 Metrowest Adolescent Health Survey. (see below for a link to view the presentation).
- Thank you to Peter Guellnitz for being a great host for us at Mill Pond and ushering people from workshop to workshop.
- Thank you to Superintendent Amber Bock for kicking off the evening for us.
- This event was made possible through collaboration and planning with Westborough Public Schools and Westborough Youth & Family Services. In particular, we would like to thank Daniel Mayer, Pat Nash, Lisa Livens, Judy Noonan, Cara Presley and Julia O'Neil Welch for their partnership in planning the program from start to finish.
