2021 MLK ONE-DAY JUNIOR CAMP

Monday, January 18

Montgomery TennisPlex is excited to offer a one-day junior camp on MLK Day! Grab your tennis racquet and get ready to play! Whether you’re a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced junior player, this one-day camp will improve your game and help you get more enjoyment from tennis!

Our TennisPlex coaches will break down the fundamental skills of tennis through easily understood games and exercises to help improve the camper’s overall coordination and technique. Campers learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. In addition to developing a love for tennis, campers will learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis such an exciting game to play.

MLK Camp Rates (Per Camper):

Full Day Camp (9am-3pm) = $120

AM Half Day Camp (9am-12pm) = $70

PM Half Day Camp (12pm-3pm) = $70

Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) is the global rating for all tennis players, regardless of age, gender or nationality, on a scale of 1-16.5.

Three factors go into the UTR rating:

1) Competition: your opponent's UTR

2) Score: Games won

3) Recent history: up to 30 matches in the past 12 months.
