Happy Anniversary!

We celebrated two (almost three) anniversaries this week! The Lakeville YMCA Early Childhood Learning Center celebrated their 5-year anniversary – and fun fact – that was my very first ribbon cutting - as October 8 will be MY five-year anniversary at the Chamber! Yay to YMCA and I! Also, thank you to Mayor Hellier for helping us congratulate Drs. Grasdal and Green on their 20-year anniversary in business and as chamber members. It is so fun to talk about how different Lakeville looks from when they started those year ago. Another fun fact – Dr. Grasdal’s twin sons are also becoming Dentists, following in mom’s footsteps!

In two weeks – Oct 12

Join us October 12 for our annual State of the Schools program and lunch. Dr. Van Zyl will be sharing Lakeville Area School updates, including information on the two levy questions that will be on the ballot in November.

Thank you Bowlers!

Thank you to everyone who came out to bowl and support our work in education and workforce development! A special thank you to our presenting and strike pot sponsor, Kohlnhofer Insurance. QA1 was our big winner with TOP TEAM, TOP INDIVIDUAL SCORE, and our $200 STRIKE POT WINNER! Thank you to Bowlero for hosting and to our Lakeville Area Schools teams for enjoying a night out with us!
