Personal Use of Fireworks is Illegal

The personal use of consumer fireworks is illegal in the City of Oceanside and throughout the county. That includes sparklers, firecrackers, cherry bombs, bottle rockets and yes--even poppers. Every year, thousands of firework-related injuries are treated in hospital emergency rooms, and there are far more fires than on any other day. The City of Oceanside urges you to leave fireworks to the professionals.
