The ReMarks
August 16, 2026
| | Jesus left that place and went away to the district of Tyre and Sidon. 22 Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came out and started shouting, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon.” 23 But he did not answer her at all. And his disciples came and urged him, saying, “Send her away, for she keeps shouting after us.” 24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” 25 But she came and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, help me.” 26 He answered, “It is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.” 27 She said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’[a] table.” 28 Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.” And her daughter was healed from that moment. | | Good morning, we'll keep the intro brief today because we have an abundance of information for you down below. Homecoming Heritage
Dress Through the Decades
| | |
Have you been looking for a reason to wear that seersucker suit, your favorite church hat, Grandma’s pearls, Dad’s Sunday tie, or a vintage dress? This is it!
As we celebrate 150 years of Saint Mark, we invite everyone to join the fun by dressing in a way that honors the generations who came before us. We know Saint Mark is full of creative people, from our Drama Ministry and theater friends to those who simply enjoy dressing up for church. Whether you keep it simple or go all out, we’d love to see your creativity!
No rules. No need to buy anything. Wear something you already own, borrow a treasured family keepsake, or simply come in your favorite Sunday attire.
During lunch on the Terrace, we’ll recognize a few favorite looks with lighthearted Homecoming honors.
Let’s fill Saint Mark with 150 years of tradition, memories, and Homecoming fun!
