Northern Pine Riders - 55 Years Stronger
The Northern Pine Riders Snowmobile Club is celebrating our 55th Anniversary this year! It all started in 1970 by a great group of like-minded individuals with a simple idea to improve and provide great, safe trials for snowmobilers. Our club has faced many challenges over the years. Which most recently included the ice storm in 2022 that impacted most of our trails. But with perseverance and determination, we got most of them cleared in time for a great season.
Through our club's charitable gambling, we have had opportunities to give back to the communities within our trail system. We have locally donated over 1.3 million dollars to help as needed. Some benefitted programs are local youth programs, local food shelves, community events, and other snowmobile clubs.
In addition to our commitment to our communities, as listed above, we host annual snowmobile training and support for young and new riders at our clubhouse.
Thank you to all the early club members who started with this goal and to our current members who continue to support it.
As we celebrate this Anniversary, we welcome new members. If you would like to join us, we meet the second Friday of the month at 7:30 pm at our club building in Willow River located ¼ mile west of the I-35 and Pine County Hwy 43 Junction.

CALENDAR PHOTO WINNER: SEPTEMBER

"The Timberwolf Trail, up by Finland. I think it's the Finland Club that maintains this part of the trail, but they don't groom it until the sleds pack it down. We're just doing our share to help out! Some of it was rolled, but it's tough to get through. Some trails never saw a single pass this year."
