In Our Prayers

  • Our prayers and condolences go out to Karen Regan and her family as they grieve the loss of her father Thomas A. Roth, who died on October 24th. May God's comfort and peace surround them all.
  • As All Saints Sunday approaches, we take time to remember the people who, though no longer with us in earthly life, continue to provide us with shining examples of faithfulness, commitment, courage, and love. "For all the saints, who from their labors rest," we give you thanks, O Lord.
  • We give thanks for successful surgeries and treatments, and for the miracles that modern medicine is able to provide.
  • We pray for caregivers, that God may grant them strength, compassion, and infusions of energy.

Do you have a prayer request to share with our LAC community? Call our prayer line at

2026 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN!

Christ is the Cornerstone.

We are the Foundation.

Our 2026 Stewardship Campaign is off to an inspiring start! Thank you to our 2026 co-chairs, Anthony Manson and Bill Oleson, and the entire Stewardship committee. We hope that you have been enjoying the Monday Stewardship reflection and the Moment for Mission in weekly Worship. These serve to remind us all just how important a role LAC plays in our individual lives and the community. The impacts of our mission and ministry are felt in ways large and small!

Thank you for your support. We, the congregation, are the foundation of LAC!

A few announcements:

Don't forget to grab a block to personalize, decorate, and add to our "model" Church. "Blank" blocks can be found in the Forest Park foyer. Feel free to be creative in your expression of what LAC means to you -- photographs, verse, quotes, anything at all that moves you would be wonderful! Completed blocks can be returned to the same bin or the church office.

SAVE THE DATE: November 16th is DEDICATION SUNDAY. There will be a special Worship service to which all are welcome. LATER that day, from 5:30-7:30 PM, join us for a celebratory wine & cheese reception (Adults 21+)

HELP US "HANG THE GREENS" FOR CHRISTMAS

One of the blessings of Advent and Christmas is seeing our sanctuary adorned with the beauty and symbols of the season. If you are interested in helping with those decorations, please email us at lacoffice@lacny.org.

We will follow up with volunteers later with dates, times, and additional information

LAC Food Connection

Could you prepare a meal for a member of our congregation in need? The LAC Food Connection, under the auspices of the Deacons, provides occasional meals for our members who might have surgery or something that prevents them from cooking for themselves. Please contact lacoffice@lacny.org to offer your help. We will add you to our list of volunteers.

Fall 2025

A worthwhile and rewarding community service opportunity for the entire family. Join us to prepare food, personal items, and clothing bundles for the homeless men and women of NYC.

Join us at 4 PM in Russell Hall: NOVEMBER 8th & DECEMBER 6th
