Dear Youth and Families,
SUNDAY MORNING FORMATION HOUR
This Sunday is a planned "Sabbath Sunday," which means we will not meet in our normal Youth Formation classes. Instead, during the 10:20 a.m hour, all youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to either:
-
A) Attend the Faith in the City Forum in Ellis Hall with their parents, exploring the complexities of racial justice in our city OR
-
B) Come to the Attic for a large group devotion and fellowship with other youth, together with their regular leaders.
This is intended in part to honor the intellectual capacity of our young people by offering an invitation to think deeply and engage critical issues alongside the adults of our parish. Whether in Ellis Hall or the Attic, we look forward to being together Sunday morning.
SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE
This Sunday evening we wil have Sunday Night Live (SNL) from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., beginning with dinner in the courtyard (per COVID protocols) and then migrating to the Attic for the remainder of the evening.

INTRODUCING KATIE PRESLEY
|
|
I am delighted to share that Katie Presley will be joining All Saints' staff part-time as a youth program assistant for the remainder of the calendar year. She will also be providing some administrative support to the wider program staff during this time of regathering.
Katie graduated from Candler School of Theology this past spring, after having served as All Saints' seminarian intern for three years. She is a candidate for the priesthood in the Diocese of Atlanta. Coincidently, Gene Lopp, one of our adult high school formation leaders, served as chair of the parish committee that recommended her for ordination.
Katie will be with us for our regular youth activities (i.e. SNL and Attic Invasion) as a consistent adult presence during this season of transition. Katie is a wonderful pastor, listener, and spiritual leader and comes as a great gift to us at this time. Please join in welcoming Katie when you see her.

YOUTH MINISTRY TRANSITION PRAYER
|
|
Please continue to join me in praying for our youth ministries during this time of transition:
Almighty and everliving God, send forth your Holy Spirit to guide the search for All Saints' next Director of Youth Ministries. Grant wisdom of discernment, clarity of calling, and the assurance of your loving care and presence in every step of our journeys, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
