Talking Tar Wars: Foundation, Mary Margaret Hyer Educate Mississippians
In April, MAFP Foundation's Jewell Buckley taught tobacco prevention to a group of participants in the Mississippi Rural Dentists Scholarship Program, showing them how to do a Tar Wars presentation to make sure their future patients have the tools they need to be healthy. Miss Mississippi Mary Margaret Hyer took to the airwaves on the statewide talk radio JT Show to let consumers know she was available to do Tar Wars presentations to their kids' schools. Hyer mentioned the MAFP and the work we do to protect kids from the dangers of tobacco.
