Got Sneakers?
Please join us as we collect sneakers for Christmas Without Cancer (CWC), a nonprofit that helps local families battling the devastation of cancer.

If you would like to donate, all you need to do is gather your gently worn, used, or new sneakers and drop them off at one of our eight clinic locations by Friday, April 28th. The collection is only for sneakers/gym shoes - kids sizes 2 and up, and all adult sizes.

In return for your generous donation, a staff member will hand you a Free Recovery Session voucher redeemable at one of our six Chicago Recovery Room clinics!

Thank you for playing a crucial role in our patient's and athlete's lives.
Blog: Important Pre-Workout Stretches
Dynamic stretches before a workout raise the temperature of your muscles and prepare them for intense movement and load-bearing. Dynamic stretches—as opposed to the static stretches that you may be more familiar with—involve taking your muscles through their full range of motion. Setting aside just 5 to 10 minutes for pre-workout stretches will help you to avoid injury, and may even boost speed, agility, and power during your workout!
Irish Dancing - Dance Rehab
March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day!

Our Dance Medicine Performing Arts program focuses on the needs of dancers and performing artists, including Irish dancers! Dancers are at risk for a variety of injuries due to the repetitive and strenuous movements in their performances. Physical therapy can help with injury prevention, performance enhancement, pain management, and exercise programs to improve overall physical fitness.

Ashley Dunne at our Oak Lawn clinic is an Irish Dance Rehab Specialist and
Alex Timm at our South Loop clinic is a Dance Rehab Specialist. Schedule a physical therapy appointment today so we can get you back on the right foot!

“I like to treat each person as an individual by listening to what drives them, what factors may have impacted recovery in the past, and what I can do in order to help them reach their goals. I strongly advocate for my patients to take control of their ailments, working hard both at home and in the clinic to optimize recovery. I use a functional approach to find the origin of dysfunction and reduce chances of re-injury.”
