Subcontracts Department’s Process Improvement Initiative Drives Efficient Project Execution

As this year’s Annual Engagement survey results noted, our organization is working to create consistency and predictable work processes across all of our MIC companies and to further refine our programs as well. One of the ways the Subcontracts Department is working towards this focus is by standardizing processes and tools in this area of the business. 

“We are working to become a true shared service between field and corporate subcontracts,” said Adam Phelps, Subcontracts Department Manager. “By creating consistency in the subcontracts process, it brings continuity, structure and efficiency to all projects. Proactive behaviors such as these give us quality subcontracts and cost savings towards consistent project execution.”

CEI University Launch Reminders

MasTec Clean Energy & Infrastructure (CE&I) has officially launched CEI University, our group-wide learning management system (LMS)!

To assist with this transition, please help in completing a few quick items:



1. Review and use the launch instructions. This includes a URL to the CE&I University platform and a step-by-step description of how to log in to CE&I University.
2. Update your LMS bookmark. The new link is: http://university.cei.mastec.com
3. Log in to the system and change your password. Directions can be found in the Quick Start Guide.
4. Complete a short training about the new system for a chance to WIN!

Under the “My Learning” tab, you will find the course CE&I University: Overview for Learners. Everyone who completes the training within 30 days will be entered in a drawing for prizes!

Employee Referral Program Update
