Dear Friend,
As you know, Educate Youth's programming aims to increase the graduate rate in the 48197- 48198 zip code and help students to develop a two year post graduation plan that is aligned with their passion and dreams. As an organization, we have been successful in providing students with academic support in our H.O.P.E. (Having Opportunities for Positive Education) after-school and summer program for over 11 years.
Educate Youth was expecting to receive $75,000 in grants this year, and unfortunately, the funding did not come through. Educate Youth is in urgent need of an infusion of funds. Students in our community need this program, and this program needs your support in order to keep our doors open. Every gift, of every size, will make a difference in our efforts to support our students.

More recently, Educate Youth has begun offering art and music lessons to further ensure our students' success. The Americans for the Arts state that "students involved in art and music are twice as likely to graduate as opposed to students who do not have access to art and music education." Despite the countless benefits of arts enrichment in schools, many of those attended by our students do not offer art and/or music classes.
By providing art and music lessons to our students, Educate Youth is not only helping them to continue on their path to success, but also providing another tool to combat stress and other challenges. Watch our video below to see the ways your generosity support our students to learn, grow and thrive.
