CNETS Board of Directors is pleased to announce the 2023 Scientific & Medical Advisory Board (SMAB) membership.
The purpose of the Scientific & Medical Advisory Board (SMAB), is to provide strategic advice to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumour Society (CNETS), regarding scientific and medical matters relevant to CNETS mission.
We extend our deepest appreciation to Dr. Janice Pasieka, whose two-year term as Chair has concluded and we welcome her to the Past-Chair role. A special welcome to Dr. Rachel Goodwin, who has been appointed Chair. Dr. Simron Singh has been appointed to the position of Vice-Chair, Scientific and Medical Education.
We extend our deepest appreciation to Dr. Denise Chan and Dr. Dean Ruether, who have stepped down. All other existing SMAB members have agreed to serve an additional two-year term.
We are also delighted to welcome Dr. Jonathan Loree and Dr. David Laidley, to the CNETS SMAB. Both are exceptional patient advocates who are highly engaged in the Canadian NET landscape.
CNETS is thrilled to have such experienced and committed medical professionals, lending their talents to the CNETS mission through their participation in our advisory board!
