PTA CORNER

OPENING EVENT

The PTA programming kicked off to a wonderful start at our annual opening event on Monday evening. Parents flexed their crafting skills by making beautiful mezuzot, and everyone had the opportunity to meet new people and to hear from Rabbi Menchel and Rabbi Levy. Thank you to co-chairs Gabriella Davidson and Ariella Goldhammer for their creativity and commitment.

AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS

Afterschool clubs began this week, and, thanks to our new vendor, they are better than ever before! Students in grades K-4 are enjoying soccer, basketball, chess, fashion design, 3D art, mad science, and so much more. Some clubs still have spots available – Contact kevin@islandquestdaycamp.org for more information.

PICTURE DAY WILL BE THIS COMING WEEK

Pick out your best outfits and practice your best smiles for Picture Day! Pictures for grades PreK-2 will be on Wed, Sep 25; for grades 3-7 on Thu, Sep 26; and for 8th-grade yearbook photos on Tue, Oct 1. Please note the change of dates for the 7th and 8th grades.

All pictures must be ordered online BEFORE picture day. All photos will be mailed directly to parents’ homes, not to the school. When you order your pictures, provide a complete mailing address, including apartment numbers if applicable. The photographers will not be responsible for wayward photos if your address is incomplete and/or incorrect. Click here for information about ordering your photos.
