We are excited to introduce Wendi Wu as our new Communication Manager! After a decade of environmental work in Asia, Wendi brings her passion for conservation and community engagement to Philadelphia. (And yes, I'm the one drafting this very newsletter! 😉)

Zahir went to Saint John Neumann Maria Goretti Catholic High School in South Philadelphia. He is from North Philly and has been with PowerCorps for five months. Before joining PowerCorps, Zahir studied concrete, masonry, and framing at trade school.

Khyree Jackson

TTF Clean Team

PowerCropsPHL Fellow

A 2022 graduate of Vaux High School, Khyree is now building a promising future through PowerCorps and Tacony Creek Park! Khyree is from North Philly and has been with PowerCorps for six months.

Naja Jackson

TTF Alliance for Watershed Education (AWE) Fellow


Naja brings a fresh perspective and a strong passion for environmental studies and community engagement. She has already mastered the Creekmobile and is eager to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with our community. Look out for her in Tacony Creek Park and join us in welcoming her to the TTF team!

Feliz Filadelfia/

TTF Volunteer clean up

Saturday, July 20th |10AM - 12PM

5901 Hammond Ave

TTF Watershed is partnering with Feliz Filadelfia to remove trash and debris from the Hammond Avenue field. We will also be removing weeds and invasive species from the field to prepare the site for mowing. Join us to make Tacony Creek Park a more beautiful park for all of us...together! Street parking is available on-site. We will provide gloves and all the tools/supplies, such as trash bags and trash grabbers. We'll also provide snacks and water to volunteers. Revival Walk:

Intergenerational Peace

Join Olney Culture Lab on July 20th at 9:00 am for our monthly Revival Walk through Tacony Creek Park in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. The revival walk will focus on intergenerational peace with special guest, Wat Lao Buddhist Temple of Olney. Register for the walk CLICK HERE!

Join us for our monthly park friends group meeting on July 24th from 6 pm - 7:30 pm! The meeting will be held at the TTF Office inside the Globe Dye Works building. Nos reunimos en la plaza de entrada.El evento se llevará a cabo durante una lluvia ligera. Se le notificará sobre la cancelación del evento debido a una tormenta eléctrica o un aviso de calor.
