TREKK Christmas is off to a great start, with more than 115 children signed up to receive support this Christmas! About half already have sponsors, and we need your help to ensure every child is sponsored.
Sponsorship includes providing an outfit, a book, and a toy for each child. Once all information has been collected, sponsors will receive details about the child or children they are sponsoring.
You can make a difference by sponsoring one or more children through TREKK Christmas Sponsor Sign-Up. The deadline to sign up is Monday, November 9. For questions, contact Pastor Brooke at bhartman@concordunited.org.
Thank you for caring for kids and families in our community!

THE THRIFT STORE
The Thrift Store needs your donations! As you set up for the holidays, consider cleaning the house and bringing your items to our store. We are in need of everything—but decor, seasonal items, and knick-knacks are always on our bestseller list. If you are interested in volunteering at the store, please reach out to mmcneil@concordunited.org for info. We have a variety of ways to serve from sitting and folding grocery bags to use at the checkout to furniture pickups where you need strong muscles.
COATS FOR THE COLD
This year’s KARM Coats for the Cold drive has begun. They want to ensure everyone in our community has a way to stay warm during the upcoming frigid winter months, and they invite you to join them in that mission. Collection: Tomorrow, November 6 is the last day for donations. While all coats are welcome, each year they find they especially need children’s coats and adult coats sized XL and above. PLEASE TAKE YOUR COATS TO ANY OF THE KARM STORES OR ANY PRESTIGE CLEANERS LOCATION.

SAVE THE DATE
A Topping Out Celebration!
We’re reaching an exciting milestone in the construction of our new Children's Wing, and we want YOU to be part of the celebration!
Please save the date for our Topping Out Celebration as we mark the placement of the final structural beam in this exciting addition to our church.
This centuries-old tradition, originating in Scandinavia, celebrates the completion of a building's structural framework. Historically, builders placed an evergreen tree or branch atop the highest beam as a symbol of blessing, gratitude, and hope for all who would one day gather within its walls.
For us, this milestone is about so much more than construction. It represents answered prayers, faithful generosity, countless hours of hard work, and our shared commitment to creating a place where children can learn, grow, build relationships, and experience God's love.
Come celebrate what God is building among us!
Date: Wednesday, November 18, 2026
Time: 2:15 PM
Location: Concord United gym parking lot (behind church off of Farr Drive)
More details to come!
We look forward to celebrating this exciting milestone with our church family!
