Thanks to a fabulous grant from Institution for Savings (IFS), the library now has super, awesome new tables for the big meeting room. They store easily, no more risk of pinching fingers and are easily moved. Thank you soooo much IFS! The Friends Board has a new Secretary. Thanks for stepping up Andrea. Outgoing Secretary Laura - we miss you! The Friends recently received a generous donation from a trust fund. We are so thankful and look forward to sharing all the library programing we will fund with this gift. We just approved funding a beautiful holiday caroling concert at the library for December. Come visit the pollinator garden behind the library along the cemetery wall - it is magnificent. On Saturday, August 24 from 10-12 the Friends are hosting an open house to show off our tree mural and pollinator garden. Stop by for delicious refreshments of home made ice tea/coffee/elderflower syrup lemonade, vegetarian finger food and healthy, baked morsels. Happy summer and 4th of July all!
