I hope this letter finds you and your family doing well
I thought that 2021 would be a return to pre-March 2020 normalcy. Little did I know what lay in store for all of us. I can't imagine that "Delta", "Supply Chain Disruptions" and "Unstocked Shelves" were words you thought you'd be hearing a lot of when the year started.
For many of our fellow residents however, not having enough money for gifts during the holidays is more than just a pandemic issue, its something they face year in and year out. That's why for the 23rd year, the MFDA is working with the US Marine Corps to sponsor a Toys For Tots drive and Holiday Dinner.
Please join us on Thursday December 2nd at the
Twin Door Tavern in Maywood NJ for an evening that will celebrate the Holidays,
I sincerely hope you can once again join me in this campaign. You can help in one of a few ways:
Come to the Dinner
- Send in the registration form! You can pay by check or the MFDA can send you an invoice you can pay online!
Toys
- Bring Toys. The Marines will be joining us at the dinner, bring some toys for them to transport back to the Picatinny Arsenal.
- Send a toy. Please consider purchasing a toy and having it sent directly to:

- Hold a toy drive. If you or your company/neighborhood/friends/social club/etc would like to hold a toy drive- I have some boxes and posters I can bring over to you. Just let me know and the MFDA will pick everything up on/about December 2nd.
Cash Donations
Please consider donating money. It’s not as fun as shopping for toys, but the cash donations are very important to the Marines so they can buy toys for age groups who don't get a lot of donations (typically small children and teenagers)
