Greetings!

Happy Holidays, one and all. The Desert Valleys Builders Association wish to express our gratitude to you as our members. Below are a couple of photos of last week’s fundraising event put on by our Professional Women in Building Council The benefactor of this event was Olive Crest, supporting at risk youth. Guiseppe’s Restaurant at Shadow Ridge was a gracious host for this event.

Board President Paul Mahony will be adding new councils and committees
in 2026.
First of all, an events committee. We have a Public Officials Luncheon scheduled for January 14th at Agua Caliente Resort/Hotel/Casino in Rancho Mirage with the City of Indio City Manager as our guest speaker. January 30th, we will be hosting our Board of Directors Installation Dinner at Agua Caliente Resort/Hotel/Casino’s Sunset Room. Limited space available. And, in February, we will host the City of La Quinta City Manager for a Public Official’s Luncheon. Date and location are still to be determined. This may be the first event for our newly formed committee.

Additionally, we would like to start an Education Committee, and a Sales and Marketing Council. We wish to invite you as members to be active within the Desert Valleys Builders Association, to help it grow, and to be good partners with the communities of the Coachella Valley. If any of these groups interest you, please call Vickie or myself at (760)776-7001.

Sincerely,

James Brownyard

Executive Director
