Join us at Sunset (7:30 pm) on Earth Day, April 22, at The Tide Gauge House, Crissy Field, San Francisco, to honor the little house that maintained a consistent record of the tides since 1854.
The Tide Gauge House’s unbroken data chain proves the existence of ocean rise, of ocean temperature rise and therefore is one of the most accurate predictors of Global Warming.
And Global Warming is the ULTIMATE ISSUE.
This critical message of the imminent arrival of Global catastrophe continues to emanate from this unassuming structure that has gone unheeded for far too long. And therefore, we now find ourselves facing a genuinely existential threat.
And a reason to praise the Tide Gauge House.
Oh, Tide Gauge House, you are the Greatest Building in the World because you contain and impart the most critical information the world needs to know.
Oh, precious Tide Gauge House, you have been calling to us from the very center of our City, but your words have gone unheeded.
We are deeply sorry that we allowed the flawed voices of the Trans America Building and the SalesForce to distract us from hearing your critical message.
So here we stand before you, with a small wreath of flowers in hand and an overwhelming sense of gratitude in our hearts.
