Reach out to your Facebook friends this Giving Tuesday in support of WILPF
We're grateful for the support we receive from our WILPF members all year long. This year we're asking you to ask your Facebook friends to become more aware of WILPF
with a special gift in support of our 2020 UN Practicum for Leadership & Advocacy.
This
GIVING TUESDAY (Dec. 3rd) is an opportunity for WILPF to reach out beyond our own members and invite the public to learn more about our mission, our work, and to donate to this unique feminist peace organization. It takes advantage of a social media channel, Facebook, that we alternately love and hate.
Using Facebook can:
- Raises awareness of our organization, which can result in more support and new members joining.
- Raises dollars. Some non-profits raise thousands of dollars each year through their Giving Tuesday appeals.
- Appeal to a wider circle than just our members, engage new people, and make them aware of our history and our work nationally and locally
This Giving Tuesday, we're asking for you help.
Whether you have 15 Facebook friends or hundreds, you have the opportunity to ask each one of them to join our efforts to raise money and awareness for our critical work for peace.

Our coordinated short-term appeal is designed to make it easy and effective to reach out and we've made instructions easy to understand and follow.
And we'll provide daily email reminders, so you don't have to worry about forgetting to post.
Your Facebook friends
need not be members of WILPF
to participate in the Giving Tuesday appeal and support our organization.
