Catholic In Recovery

Oct. 2-4, 2026

This October, the Spiritual Life Center will welcome returning program, "Catholic in Recovery", a retreat on the topic of healing from addictions and unhealthy attachments through the grace of God.

Catholic in Recovery is a nonprofit organization that seeks to serve those suffering from any addictions and unhealthy attachments (including alcoholism, drug addiction, pornography addiction, sex and relationship addiction, compulsive overeating and food addictions, gambling addiction, codependency and the impact on family, and general fear, control, and anxiety).

It is the aim of Catholic in Recovery to share the Good News that God can bring about healing and recovery, even in the most hopeless of cases.

Participants on this retreat will be encouraged to encounter the Lord and grow closer to him through talks, reflection, communal prayer and sharing, as well as a faith-centric approach to the 12-Steps of Addiction Recovery principles. There will also be opportunities for private prayer, confession, Mass, and adoration.

The Anointed for Motherhood Retreat is an event that honors mothers by offering a day of restoration and encouragement, giving moms a chance to reflect on the importance of their vocation, relax, and remember just how powerful, meaningful, and Christ-filled their role is as a mother.

Mothers make a living gift of their bodies, hearts, souls, and minds to raise and nurture their children. Catholic mothers pour themselves out for others, reflecting Christ’s sacrifice of himself for us. In this way, Catholic mothers are leaders of the Church, showing by their example one uniquely feminine, vital way of bringing the Gospel of love and joy to our hurting world.

This event is $55 to register and includes a light breakfast and lunch.
