Adult Summer Reading Club

A crime has been committed at the Squamish Public Library and we need your help to solve it! One of our staff members checked out a book, damaged it and left it in the library. We need your assistance to identify which staff member committed this crime against the library.

Suspects

Areas

Complete challenges to solve the case and earn raffle entries to win prizes. Play along by reading, creating and learning about the library all summer long.

The challenges are broken down into 3 categories.

Here are a few examples:

READ

  • A book that was made into a movie
  • A book by a BIPOC author

CREATE SOMETHING

  • Create something after watching a tutorial on Creative Bug, an online art lesson platform accessed with your library card.
  • Write a review of a book on our online catalogue.

FIND SOMETHING NEW

  • Pick up a hold or return a book at our new locker in Brennan Park.
  • Check out an item from the Library of Things (we've got all sorts of things - telescopes, frisbee golf, sewing machines, pasta makers, and more!).

Come by the library to pick up your game sheet and learn more about how to play!

The game runs from July 17th - September 15th 2026.
Correct accusations will be placed in a raffle for prizes. Turn in your accusations before the library closes on September 15th to be eligible for the raffle.

The game is open to patrons 15 years or older.

Winners will be announced on September 16th, 2026.
