"No, no, no, no, no, this won't do at all," muttered Sialeise, looking out over the frozen landscape, frigid townsfolk and shivering livestock. "Where is the green? Where is the life? Where is the warmth? No, no, no. Absolutely not." She plucked a snotcicle from the nose of a sniffling child and inspected it closely before handing it back to the youngster.

The green-haired druid crunched through the snow pack to the middle of the settlement and stood, feet squared, hands on her hips, looking petulant at the audacity of Winter. "Fear not, little snot goblin!" she yelled back over her shoulder. "I'll have this fixed in no time!"

Sialeise spread her hands and began to work her magic. "Sprint time is near," she whispered to the winds.

Games of the Week: Equinox

Spring starts this Monday, and to celebrate the vernal equniox, the board game Equinox will be this week's Game of the Week! 20% off both in store and online from Friday, March 17th to Thursday, March 23rd .

In Equinox there are 8 different magical creatures competing to be remembered each game. Sadly, we can't keep them all, and by the end of the game there will only be 3 remaining. At the end of each of the 5 rounds one of the creatures is eliminated, fading to obscurity. Players play cards of the different creature types, and once there is a card of each of the remaining creatures that round, the one with the lowest number is eliminated.

The earlier you bet on the winners, the more points they will be worth, but the more of a target will be on thier heads. Will your favorite little guy make it to the end? Not if your friends have anything to say about it.

Both the Green Box and Purple Box (identical contents; different colour, different friend on the front) are included in the sale, so get them while we've got them!

We're traditionalists at heart! The winners for the last poll, "What themeing floats your gaming boat," were Fantasy and SciFi/Space, each with 12% of the vote, followed by Horror, which came in with a respectable 11%. 11% of you are my people! Gimme them spooky games.

Upcoming Event: Flesh & Blood Outsiders Pre-Release

Outsiders is a standalone Flesh & Blood booster set that takes you down into the Pits, a sprawling web of underground caverns and canals, home to all manner of backstabbing and skullduggery.

Join us Saturday, March 18th for a Sealed prerelease event to celebrate the release of the new set! You'll receive 6 booster packs from Outsiders to build a 40 card deck from, and have 30 minutes to construct your deck from your card pool. We'll then have 3-4 rounds of Best of One gameplay!

5-8 players: 3 rounds

Event Thank You: Painting Workshop & Learn to Play 40K

To those of you -- and there are LOTS -- who stopped by our March Hobby Workship and Learn to Play 40K and spent your valuable Saturday with us, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

This was one of our best workshop/hangout events yet! We loved seeing all of your amazing, hand-painted giants! And we loved standing alongside you as you learned the ins and outs of Warhammer.

Learn to Play sessions and Hobby Workshops really form the core of our philosophy of gaming here at GameKnight Games. We want to share our love and passion for gaming and hobbying with as many people as possible. If there's a game or hobby skill you want to see us showcase, let us know!

And if you missed our Learn to Play session (be it for 40k or Conquest or any other game we play), feel free to reach out. We'll see if we can arrange some time to show you the ropes!

Restocks and New Products

We've finally received a hefty Games Workshop restock, including a bunch of Citadel brushes and painting accessories. Still waiting on the paints, but they should be in shortly, so keep your eyes peeled! We've also added to our used games wall and received a whole new load of bi-colour Boulder deck boxes.
