Sixth Grade Parade of Idioms, September 6th

The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster is full of clever plays on words, puns, and funny idioms.  In honor of our summer reading, 6th grade scholars are welcome to come dressed as one of their favorite idioms on Friday, September 6th.

Examples include but are not limited to:

- He/She is a smart cookie!

- That will happen when pigs fly!

- It's raining cats and dogs!

- You wear your heart on your sleeve.

This is an optional activity and scholars will have the opportunity to model their idioms during 1st period class, at 8:00 AM.

Parents are invited.

Please contact Mrs. Fast with any questions.

Thank you!

Look at how terrific the playground is! Thank you to our PTO for their generosity and for re-mulching the playground for our Griffins!

Thank you to Aristoi's Cypress Booster Club (ACBC)! Twenty-five new desks and chairs now serve 25 Aristoi Griffins!

The Harris County Sheriff's Office also deserves our thanks for donating playground items for our scholars and for supporting our classical community.
