Reporting to you live from the Cote d'Azure, I'm here for the 10th edition of IPEM (International Private Equity Market) in Cannes which officially kicks off tomorrow. It has been known to be "mostly French" until recent years as it attracts more of the international crowd. I've been told it's huge like SuperReturn Berlin but with a trade show feel. It's my first time attending so I'm quite looking forward to it!

TIDE is officially in the throes of international expansion. Our US operations will continue as normal while TIDE International represents our efforts to amplify the underrepresented voices on a global scale. We plan to partner with many organizations to promote diversity. Here in Europe, the focus is predominantly on gender.
We are so excited to share this journey with all of our supporters so much so that we're already planning our TIDE International event...

TIDE London Pop-up Event
Which means, time to block out your calendar! We'll be hosting a TIDE pop-up event in London on April 4th. The event will be held in the 1 Hotel Mayfair. With only 100 spots available, we already have about 20 of UK LPs signed up! ππ»

London Ladies
In celebration of our move across the pond, we hosted a " Weekend Social" in the TIDE London HQ aka my place. A group of us ladies in the industry got together to connect and mingle. The theme was Spice girls, with an unusually high proportion of Posh Spices at the get together!

TIDE had the honor of representing at SuperInvestor Zurich and SuperReturn North America at the end of 2023. Special thanks to Stephen Ashiotis and the SuperReturn team for having us!
Zurich: We led an LP-only discussion along with Marie Luchet of AXA titled "DEI within private markets: What role do LPs play?"
Side note: Stephen mentioned that next year's SuperInvestor event location in Monaco was inspired by TIDE! π
